This is a collage I made for an english project. It's in the style of Romare Bearden (hopefully xD)
OH, and my camera didn't take the WHOLE picture of the collage...just pretend that's fire down there at the bottom of the scenery xD. Anywayz, the path in the center is a railroad track. This is a representation of the Great Migration, where many African Americans migrated from the South to the North and West in search of better economic and social equality after WWI. I would tell you all the symbols in it, but I really don't want to bore you  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
